Descriptions
- Description given in 2007:
Crazy Stone has improved a lot since 2006 thanks to the incorporation of pattern knowledge into its search algorithm. Patterns help to improve the quality of random simulations, and are used to prune bad moves. Details of this algorithm can be found in a paper presented at the Computer Games Workshop. Crazy Stone is running on one node of the Grid5000 project.
- Description given in 2006:
The first lines of code of Crazy Stone were written in July, 2005. Crazy Stone is based on Monte-Carlo evaluation, combined with a form of global tree search. Crazy Stone's algorithm is described in a paper that will be presented at the conference. Crazy Stone is distributed as freeware, and can be downloaded from its web site.
